Backed with extensive recent track experience and successes, Giti Tire is excited to be taking a new step forward as the official tire of 2018 MINI Challenge Asian Series. This series gathers drivers and MINI enthusiasts from around the region together to participate in exciting activities and racing. The debut 2018 race in Zhuhai, China featured strong overall competition and a great performance by Leona Chin, a successful female Malaysian racer and Giti Ambassador. The MINI Challenge kicks off what will surely be an exciting year ahead for Giti Tire as the supplier of Nürburgring 24 Hours Race, Renault Clio Cup Asia Series, LMP3 Series, and many more exciting events to be announced.

The MINI Challenge originated in the UK 17 years ago, and has spread to venues around the world, including the US, Europe, and now Asia. Coming to China for the first time in 2018, Giti is participating with tire sponsorship and branding of vehicles as part of a carnival for MINI enthusiasts from around China. The MINIs entered are upgraded versions of the John Cooper Works MINI F56, which have 255-bhp engines and sequential gearboxes. GitiCompete GTR1 tires are used by all vehicles, further enhancing their performance in tire grip, acceleration, cornering control, and other areas to achieve better performances.

In order to further satisfy the experience and appeal of MINI fans and create an immersive interaction experience, every 2018 MINI Asian challenge competition is accompanied by a "MINI LIVE" interactive show. Through this, experienced coaches lead car owners to test drive on the spot. As the 2018 MINI Asia challenge official tire supplier, Giti tires also take this opportunity for tire interactions and demonstrations, taking into account the young owner of the ride comfort and driving needs.

Giti Tire believes in challenging the toughest terrains, conditions, and competitions around the world. The most extreme events provide a rigorous trial of drivers, racing cars, and tires. It's also the best way to improve and innovate tires of all types. As a major tire brand, Giti Tire is committed to innovative research on tire technology, top R&D, and strategic design that goes into each and every tire whether for motorsports events or regular consumer driving. This has been shown through the company’s car and truck racing success in top competitions through Europe, Asia, North America, Australia, and elsewhere.

Officially starting up the 2018 season with the MINI Asia Challenge, Giti has many more exciting activities and races planned. In April, the LMP3 series in Asia will kick off, followed in May with Giti’s return to the world famous “Green Hell” Nürburgring 24 Hour Endurance Race in Germany.
