Giti Earns Best Tire Supplier and Social Responsibility Awards from MGTS
Giti Tire is proud to be recognized with the MGTS Asia ‘Best Spare Parts & Tires Supplier’ and ‘Most Socially Responsible Supplier’ awards, presented at the Inaugural MGTS Asia Supplier Awards on November 21, 2017. These honors are in acknowledgment of Giti Tire’s impact over the past year in the areas of quality, service, and contribution to society. Giti was the winner of two of only nine industry-wide awards given this year by MGTS Asia, finishing above many other leading global tire and automotive supply manufacturers.
Headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, MGTS (Mobivia Groupe) is one of the European leaders in sourcing, development and supply of tires and car accessories. It is part of one of Europe’s largest retail conglomerates – the Mulliez Family Association (AFM) – and has more than 1,200 auto shops as well as two dedicated online platforms. The organization is well-respected in the industry, with a mission to find, evaluate and engage the best suppliers to provide products and services, as well as ensure that products are developed with the best practices. MGTS also has a strong reach in Asia and other regions around the world, and has been a partner with Giti Tire in tire distribution for the past decade.

This recognition is in addition to other recent honors that Giti Tire has earned, including from top OEM partners such as General Motors. In early 2016, Giti Tire was also awarded with Hardlines Supplier of the Year and Automotive Supplier of the Year awards from Walmart USA, the world’s largest retail company. With major recent investments and focus on its products, services, and facilities, Giti Tire continues to strive to be a top global supplier of choice for all of its partners, as well as to make a sustained and positive impact on the community.
